Mr. McAllister graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from The Catholic University of America in 1999, where he received his B.A. in Politics. In 2002, he earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he graduated cum laude. At Harvard Law School, Mr. McAllister was a teaching assistant for the first-year legal research and writing course and served as an articles editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy.
Following law school, Mr. McAllister clerked for the Honorable Richard C. Wesley on both the New York State Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Following his clerkship, he became Assistant Counsel to Governor George E. Pataki, where he provided legal advice to the Governor and other senior administration officials in the areas of taxation and finance, the judiciary, constitutional budgetary powers and federal and state constitutional law. Just prior to joining Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP, Mr. McAllister served as campaign policy director for John J. Faso, the 2006 New York State Republican gubernatorial candidate.
