Gerald Robinson has significant experience litigating a wide variety of matters. Throughout his career, Mr. Robinson has investigated and litigated fraud and anticompetitive conduct, including kickbacks to a public pension fund director, real estate fraud, antitrust claims in the medical goods industry, healthcare billing, drug pricing, and pharmaceutical marketing.
Since joining Boies, Schiller & Flexner, LLP, Mr. Robinson's practice has focused on complex commercial litigation, primarily pursuing several False Claims Act actions against companies in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. He has also been involved in pursuing a civil RICO and negligence action on behalf of a residential mortgage lender; defending a medical products company against antitrust claims; pursuing claims for misappropriation of software against a major manufacturer of computer hardware and related products; representing real estate investors to enforce their contractual and property rights at a major ski resort; seeking the buyout of an oppressed minority shareholder; defending against an FTC consumer redress action; and assisting a client with legislative matters.
Previously, Mr. Robinson practiced in boutique litigation firms in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota where he did significant work in eminent domain, land use, employment, and a wide variety of complex commercial actions. Among the matters in which Mr. Robinson participated was a successful multi-million dollar legal malpractice action against Minnesota and California attorneys.
