Mr. Coe has litigated a variety of cases in the software, telecommunications, utilities, and banking industries. At Boies Schiller & Flexner LLP, Mr. Coe has represented the majority shareholders of a technology company in the United States and Belgium for claims arising out of the acquisition of their company, represented a television network and a major power utility in contractual disputes and represented an alarm monitoring company in litigation with its Authorized Dealers. Mr. Coe has also prosecuted and defended class action litigation.
Prior to joining Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP, Mr. Coe was an associate in the Denver office of the law firm of Patton Boggs LLP. There, Mr. Coe represented an internet company in copyright/trademark and deceptive trade practices suits. He also represented the majority shareholders of an international bank in world-wide litigation arising out of the bank’s collapse and obtained dismissal of a wrongful death action in Federal Court against a medical detergent manufacturer. In addition, Mr. Coe represented both defendants as well as private plaintiffs in Superfund litigation and toxic tort cases and represented both individuals and companies subject to civil and criminal investigations arising out various securities and environmental laws.
